T\u00e9 sentit, doncs, que atribu\u00efm aquesta funci\u00f3 de transmissi\u00f3 patrimonial a l\u2019ensenyament obligatori, garantint aix\u00ed que una gran majoria de les persones de la nostra societat hi tingui acc\u00e9s. Per\u00f2 ens assegura aix\u00f2 que la tradici\u00f3 segueixi viva i evolucioni fora de les parets de les escoles i instituts? \u00c9s aquest acc\u00e9s al repertori tradicional significatiu pel conjunt de la societat? Ajuda a enfortir l\u2019ess\u00e8ncia del propi folklore? Deixeu-me q\u00fcestionar-ho. En la meva opini\u00f3, si redu\u00efm l\u2019estudi i la pr\u00e0ctica del nostre llegat cultural a l\u2019etapa escolar correm diversos riscos, alguns m\u00e9s evidents que altres.<\/p>\n<p>El primer i m\u00e9s perill\u00f3s \u00e9s <em>infantilitzar<\/em> el repertori de can\u00e7ons i danses. \u00c9s f\u00e0cilment observable com hem anat substituint paulatinament el terme \u2018popular\u2019 per \u2018infantil\u2019, en quant a les can\u00e7ons i danses es refereix. Quan categoritzem quelcom com a <em>infantil<\/em>, autom\u00e0ticament ho estem excloent del <em>ser i fer<\/em> adult. I el primer que haur\u00edem de fer \u00e9s preguntar-nos d\u2019on v\u00e9nen aquestes danses i can\u00e7ons que treballem a l\u2019escola. I el m\u00e9s important: Sempre han pertangut al m\u00f3n dels infants?<\/p>\n<p>Si ens endinsem a con\u00e8ixer l\u2019extens repertori folkl\u00f2ric del nostre pa\u00eds veurem que aquest es caracteritza per la seva genu\u00eftat mel\u00f2dica i r\u00edtmica i la seva l\u00edrica quotidiana i desenfadada. Ambdues caracter\u00edstiques ens expliquen molt sobre l\u2019objectiu de la dansa i la m\u00fasica popular, que \u00e9s b\u00e0sicament el de permetre una pr\u00e0ctica generalitzada i no professional per part del conjunt d\u2019una societat. En altres paraules, la m\u00fasica i la dansa populars es defineixen per la seva ess\u00e8ncia inclusiva i intergeneracional. Si l\u2019analitzem una mica -el repertori-, r\u00e0pidament hi trobem refer\u00e8ncies a la celebraci\u00f3, la picaresca, l&#8217;alcohol i el sexe, per posar alguns exemples. De fet, com m\u00e9s estudiem les nostres can\u00e7ons, m\u00e9s evident es fa que els seus protagonistes s\u00f3n principalment adults en contextos humor\u00edstics, immorals, desgraciats, festius o transgressors. Per\u00f2 portem tant de temps disfressant-ho de repertori infantil que avui en dia la gran majoria de persones no coneix la hist\u00f2ria de tortura darrere d\u2019en <em>Jan Petit, <\/em>l\u2019orgia sexual del <em>Peu polidor<\/em>, o com van assassinar injustament l\u2019alcoh\u00f2lic i delinq\u00fcent <em>Sant<\/em> <em>Ferriol<\/em>. En resum, la nefasta conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de la <em>infantilitzaci\u00f3<\/em> \u00e9s precisament la desnaturalitzaci\u00f3 i descontextualitzaci\u00f3 del propi repertori.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Si redu\u00efm l\u2019estudi i la pr\u00e0ctica del nostre llegat cultural a l\u2019etapa escolar correm diversos riscos: el primer i m\u00e9s perill\u00f3s \u00e9s infantilitzar el repertori de can\u00e7ons i danses<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>El segon risc que correm \u00e9s la simplificaci\u00f3. Amb el proc\u00e9s que veiem a les escoles, l\u00f2gic des del punt de vista de l&#8217;adaptaci\u00f3 curricular dels materials per a la pr\u00e0ctica infantil dels mateixos, correm el risc que molts infants creixin pensant que les can\u00e7ons i danses tradicionals s\u00f3n sin\u00f2nim de senzillesa i que les seves lletres parlen de temes banals i antiquats. Quan aquests infants creixin i madurin la seva ment i el seu cos i esdevinguin adolescents amb altres necessitats, no podrem culpar-los de perdre inter\u00e8s en aquests materials. Perqu\u00e8 m\u2019entengueu: quan agafin la seva primera trompa de <em>calimotxo<\/em>, no hauran escoltat mai les m\u00e9s de cent can\u00e7ons que expressen de manera ocurrent i c\u00f2mplice l\u2019embriaguesa del vi i la converteixen en danses de festeig per a, amb sort, fregar cuixa amb cuixa o aconseguir el primer pet\u00f3 del noi o la noia que els fa delir. Quan esdevinguin adults amb una feina i altres preocupacions, no entendran que el folklore els pot acompanyar tamb\u00e9 en la vida adulta: tot cagant-se en l\u2019amo, els pol\u00edtics i monarques o els estereotips de g\u00e8nere, per exemple. No sabran que el gaudi de cantar i ballar \u00e9s tamb\u00e9, i molt, <em>cosa de grans<\/em>. Perqu\u00e8 s\u00ed, senyores i senyors, posin-se les mans al cap: el folklore catal\u00e0 parla de fer diners, de robar-ne, de follar en grup, de canviar de parella, de beure fins a rodolar i de criticar els estirats del poble del costat. I posaria la m\u00e0 al foc que entre els passatemps dels joves i adults d\u2019avui en dia, aquests temes no han mort pas.<\/p>\n<p>Com \u00e9s comprensible, portar un contingut a l\u2019escola implica fer-lo pol\u00edticament correcte. I heus aqu\u00ed el tercer risc: l\u2019oblit de tot el material que no pot passar aquest filtre. Protegir els alumnes de lletres pervertides o danses de magreig \u00e9s una acci\u00f3 que no discutir\u00e9 massa, per\u00f2 precisament denota (de nou) que l\u2019escola no \u00e9s el lloc on s\u2019haurien d\u2019aprendre aquestes peces i, per tant, cal ubicar-les en un altre lloc. La cultura popular mai s\u2019ha generat des d\u2019una perspectiva moral i educativa, sin\u00f3 precisament des de la capacitat del poble de transgredir la quotidianitat amb la festa i la celebraci\u00f3 de la vida. No creieu que relegar-la al m\u00f3n educatiu podria ser, mirant-ho aix\u00ed, desvirtuar-la per complet?<\/p>\n<p>Algunes podreu defensar que el propi folklore \u00e9s una font de recursos pedag\u00f2gics imprescindible, i no aneu errades. Quina millor mat\u00e8ria prima per crear unitats did\u00e0ctiques que la que la pr\u00f2pia societat \u00e9s capa\u00e7 de generar? Estic d\u2019acord, ens hem de valdre de la pr\u00f2pia cultura (i d\u2019altres) per dissenyar i desenvolupar les nostres activitats a l\u2019aula de m\u00fasica. Ara, deixeu-me dir: el primer pas per aprofitar el folklore com a recurs educatiu, \u00e9s que el folklore existeixi i que estigui ben viu. I aix\u00f2 des del meu punt de vista l\u2019escola no ho pot ni ho ha d\u2019assumir. \u00c9s responsabilitat de nosaltres, \u201cels grans\u201d, que el folklore no sigui quelcom amb aires medievals que ens obliga el curr\u00edculum, sin\u00f3 quelcom viu que ens entreguem a gaudir i reivindicar en primera persona. Fixeu-vos com d\u2019alienats estem de l\u2019ess\u00e8ncia d\u2019aquest fer que en les ballades escolars \u00e9s estrany veure adults ballar. I no parlo de les mestres de m\u00fasica, evidentment, que sempre s\u2019hi deixen la pell, sin\u00f3 del conjunt de mestres de l\u2019escola, suposat reflex de la societat. Dels pares i mares, mers espectadors amb el m\u00f2bil en m\u00e0, ja ni en parlo. Si em permeteu la franquesa, des del punt de vista educatiu \u201cseure i mirar\u201d \u00e9s el pitjor model adult a donar quan una dansa popular s\u2019esdev\u00e9. Capgirar aquest model seria un bon punt de partida, perqu\u00e8 cantar i ballar \u00e9s cosa de totes.<\/p>\n<p>Ens cal trobar, doncs, un equilibri que permeti que la m\u00fasica i la dansa popular i tradicional sobrevisqui a la <em>infantilitzaci\u00f3<\/em>, la simplificaci\u00f3 i l\u2019oblit. Per aix\u00f2 \u00e9s necessari posar la mirada fora de l\u2019escola i lluny dels infants: i \u00e9s que tenim la immensa sort de comptar amb la feina que desenvolupen tota mena d\u2019entitats arreu del pa\u00eds: esbarts, corals, col\u00b7lectius de glosa, agrupacions dansaires, entremesos, etc. Totes elles s\u00f3n bons exemples d\u2019una transmissi\u00f3 cultural honesta i amb menys biaix educatiu que necessitem cultivar. Gr\u00e0cies a la seva tasca, hi ha un afortunat grup de persones adultes m\u00e9s gran cada dia, contagiant la valentia que cal per atrevir-se a fer les vertaderes \u201ccoses de grans\u201d. Reivindiquem-ne el seu valor.
