{"id":238,"date":"2024-04-25T05:00:09","date_gmt":"2024-04-25T05:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diarieducacio.cat\/educacio-en-salut\/?p=238"},"modified":"2024-05-13T16:00:50","modified_gmt":"2024-05-13T14:00:50","slug":"usar-pantalles-abans-danar-a-dormir-augmenta-el-risc-dobesitat-infantil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diarieducacio.cat\/educacio-en-salut\/2024\/04\/25\/usar-pantalles-abans-danar-a-dormir-augmenta-el-risc-dobesitat-infantil\/","title":{"rendered":"Usar pantalles abans d\u2019anar a dormir augmenta el risc d\u2019obesitat infantil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La combinaci\u00f3 d\u2019anar-se\u2019n a dormir despr\u00e9s de les deu de la nit i, abans, exposar-se durant m\u00e9s de trenta minuts a pantalles, com ara tauleta, m\u00f2bil, ordinador o televisi\u00f3, s\u2019associa amb un risc m\u00e9s alt d\u2019obesitat i menys adher\u00e8ncia a la dieta mediterr\u00e0nia en la poblaci\u00f3 infantil, segons un nou estudi de la Universitat de Barcelona (UB).<\/p>\n<p>El treball, publicat a la<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0195666324000941?via%3Dihub\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> revista Appetite<\/a>, tamb\u00e9 ha detectat que un percentatge significatiu d\u2019infants, el 27,5 % dels preescolars i el 35,2 % dels que estan en edat escolar, passa m\u00e9s de mitja hora davant un d\u2019aquests dispositius amb pantalla abans d\u2019anar al llit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHem observat que els nens i les nenes en edat preescolar o escolar que tenen h\u00e0bits del son m\u00e9s nocturns i passen m\u00e9s temps davant les pantalles abans d\u2019anar a dormir tenen un risc m\u00e9s alt de desenvolupar sobrep\u00e8s o obesitat, en comparaci\u00f3 amb aquells que se\u2019n van d\u2019hora al llit i no miren pantalles abans d\u2019anar-se\u2019n al llit\u201d, explica Mar\u00eda Fernanda Zer\u00f3n-Rugerio, primera autora de l\u2019estudi, que \u00e9s professora de la Facultat d\u2019Infermeria i investigadora del Campus de l\u2019Alimentaci\u00f3 de Torribera de la UB i de l\u2019Institut d\u2019Investigaci\u00f3 en Nutrici\u00f3 i Seguretat Aliment\u00e0ria (INSA).<\/p>\n<p>El treball l\u2019ha dirigit la catedr\u00e0tica Maria Izquierdo-Pulido, de la Facultat de Farm\u00e0cia i Ci\u00e8ncies de l\u2019Alimentaci\u00f3 i del Campus de l\u2019Alimentaci\u00f3 de Torribera, i investigadora de l\u2019INSA. Tamb\u00e9 hi ha participat la doctora Alicia Santamar\u00eda, dels Laboratoris Ordesa.<\/p>\n<p>Les investigadores tamb\u00e9 han descobert que la combinaci\u00f3 d\u2019aquests dos comportaments es tradueix en una durada m\u00e9s curta del son nocturn, que, a m\u00e9s, \u00e9s de pitjor qualitat, tant en preescolars com en escolars. Aquestes variables tamb\u00e9 s\u2019associen amb un endarreriment en els horaris de l\u2019esmorzar i el sopar, especialment a mesura que l\u2019edat dels infants augmenta.<\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00ed mateix, els infants en edat escolar que mantenen aquesta combinaci\u00f3 d\u2019h\u00e0bits poc saludables tamb\u00e9 experimenten un jet lag social o desfasament horari social m\u00e9s alt i fan menys activitat f\u00edsica. \u201cAix\u00f2 \u00e9s habitual entre les persones que se\u2019n van tard al llit, ja que han d\u2019ajustar l\u2019hora de llevar-se per adaptar-se als horaris escolars, en lloc d\u2019adaptar-se a les necessitats del son. Per aix\u00f2, acaben dormint menys i acumulen un d\u00e8ficit de son al llarg de la setmana, una situaci\u00f3 que en estudis previs s\u2019ha associat amb un estat d\u2019\u00e0nim irritable, un rendiment acad\u00e8mic deficient i una somnol\u00e8ncia di\u00fcrna\u201d, expliquen les investigadores.<\/p>\n<h3>H\u00e0bits de son i \u00fas de dispositius<\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019estudi s\u2019ha basat en dades recollides a trav\u00e9s d\u2019enquestes en l\u00ednia fetes a 1.133 infants espanyols, 545 dels quals tenien entre dos i quatre anys i 588 entre cinc i dotze anys. En aquests q\u00fcestionaris s\u2019analitzaven els h\u00e0bits del son i l\u2019\u00fas de dispositius amb pantalles, aix\u00ed com altres indicadors, com ara la dieta o l\u2019\u00edndex de massa corporal.<\/p>\n<p>Aproximadament la meitat dels infants i en edat escolar enquestats passen entre un i trenta minuts davant una pantalla abans d\u2019anar al llit (el 50,5 % i el 45,1 %, respectivament), mentre que el 27,5 % dels preescolars i el 35,2 % dels escolars hi passen m\u00e9s de mitja hora. De fet, els resultats revelen que nom\u00e9s el 14,2 % dels infants en edat preescolar i l\u201911,7 % dels infants en edat escolar no veuen pantalles i van d\u2019hora al llit.<\/p>\n<p>Les investigadores tamb\u00e9 es mostren sorpreses pels horaris de son dels participants en l\u2019estudi: &#8220;Hem constatat que els nens i nenes tendeixen a anar-se\u2019n al llit al voltant de les deu de la nit. Si tenim en compte que es recomana que dormin entre deu i dotze hores, \u00e9s evident que molts infants espanyols no dormen prou&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Davant d\u2019aquesta situaci\u00f3, les expertes de la UB recomanen avan\u00e7ar l\u2019hora d\u2019anar al llit i, abans d\u2019anar a dormir, reduir al m\u00e0xim l\u2019exposici\u00f3 a pantalles, que idealment cal evitar del tot almenys una hora abans. S\u00f3n unes indicacions que tenen l\u2019aval de les directrius de l\u2019Associaci\u00f3 Americana de Pediatria.<\/p>\n<p>Per a les investigadores de la UB, en el cas de la poblaci\u00f3 infantil \u00e9s fonamental abordar la prevenci\u00f3 de l\u2019obesitat i els factors de l\u2019estil de vida que es poden modificar, a fi de fomentar, aix\u00ed, un creixement i desenvolupament saludables. Entre aquests factors hi ha l\u2019hora d\u2019anar al llit i el temps que es dedica a les pantalles abans. &#8220;Es tracta d\u2019aspectes de l\u2019estil de vida modern que tenen a veure amb h\u00e0bits alimentaris poc saludables i menys adher\u00e8ncia a patrons d\u2019alimentaci\u00f3 saludable, com la dieta mediterr\u00e0nia.
