{"id":2598,"date":"2021-03-08T06:04:58","date_gmt":"2021-03-08T06:04:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diarieducacio.cat\/educaciolocal\/?p=2598"},"modified":"2024-08-08T10:52:37","modified_gmt":"2024-08-08T08:52:37","slug":"orientacio-no-sexista-per-fomentar-vocacions-cientifico-tecniques-entre-les-nenes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diarieducacio.cat\/educaciolocal\/2021\/03\/08\/orientacio-no-sexista-per-fomentar-vocacions-cientifico-tecniques-entre-les-nenes\/","title":{"rendered":"Orientaci\u00f3 no sexista per fomentar vocacions cient\u00edfico-t\u00e8cniques entre les nenes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Estudis recents en el nostre context posen de manifest que existeix una tend\u00e8ncia per part de les persones del nostre entorn i, per tant, les mares i pares, a considerar que els nois s\u00f3n millors en assignatures vinculades a la ci\u00e8ncia i la tecnologia mentre que les noies ho s\u00f3n en assignatures vinculades a les lleng\u00fces i les humanitats (S\u00e1inz, 2020; S\u00e1inz, F\u00e0bregues, i Sol\u00e9, 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Aquestes creences estereotipades que es tenen sobre el tipus de compet\u00e8ncies m\u00e9s apropiades per a uns i per a unes altres calen molt entre els joves, perqu\u00e8 les acaben assumint de manera ferma sense ser-ne conscients. Per aquest motiu, les noies (sobretot en els primers anys de l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 secund\u00e0ria obligat\u00f2ria) continuen creient que s\u00f3n pitjors que els seus companys en mat\u00e8ries de ci\u00e8ncia i tecnologia, fins i tot obtenint notes iguals o superiors en aquestes mat\u00e8ries. No obstant aix\u00f2, els nois de secund\u00e0ria (fruit d&#8217;un proc\u00e9s de socialitzaci\u00f3 orientat a ressaltar les seves compet\u00e8ncies en \u00e0mbits cient\u00edfics i tecnol\u00f2gics) es consideren a si mateixos millor del que realment s\u00f3n, malgrat treure notes iguals o inferiors a les seves companyes en aquestes mat\u00e8ries de ci\u00e8ncia i tecnologia (S\u00e1inz, 2020).<\/p>\n<p>Curiosament, tamb\u00e9 s&#8217;ha observat que les noies tendeixen a ser objecte de comentaris sexistes respecte a les seves compet\u00e8ncies acad\u00e8miques per a la ci\u00e8ncia i la tecnologia amb m\u00e9s freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia que els seus companys (S\u00e1inz, Mart\u00ednez, i Meneses, 2020). No hem d&#8217;oblidar que les compet\u00e8ncies cient\u00edfiques i tecnol\u00f2giques acostumen a estar millor valorades socialment (en termes de considerar-se m\u00e9s dif\u00edcils d&#8217;adquirir) que les compet\u00e8ncies lligades als \u00e0mbits de les humanitats, les arts, i les ci\u00e8ncies socials. Aix\u00f2 t\u00e9 un efecte molt important sobre com els nois i les noies reaccionen davant de situacions de sexisme, perqu\u00e8 les noies no veuen reconegudes les seves compet\u00e8ncies i talent en aquests \u00e0mbits malgrat estar en possessi\u00f3 d&#8217;un gran potencial per a exercir-hi.<\/p>\n<p>De fet, les noies, en comparaci\u00f3 amb els seus companys, mostren una actitud m\u00e9s activa d&#8217;enfrontament a situacions de sexisme acad\u00e8mic (S\u00e1inz, Mart\u00ednez, i Meneses, 2020). \u00c9s a dir, tendeixen a enfrontar-se de manera directa a la persona que expressa conductes sexistes o busquen el suport de persones adultes del seu entorn per a fer front a aquestes situacions. A m\u00e9s, els estudiants de secund\u00e0ria amb pares amb estudis universitaris i de secund\u00e0ria mostren aquest tipus d&#8217;actitud proactiva amb m\u00e9s freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia que els estudiants amb pares i mares nom\u00e9s amb estudis b\u00e0sics.<\/p>\n<p>Algunes mares i pares reconeixen que de vegades reprodueixen rols i estereotips de g\u00e8nere. Per exemple, exigint a les seves filles que participin m\u00e9s que els seus fills de les activitats dom\u00e8stiques o matriculant als fills en activitats extraescolars m\u00e9s lligades a la masculinitat, com el futbol (S\u00e1inz, F\u00e1bregues, i Sol\u00e9, 2020). Aquestes evid\u00e8ncies posen de relleu que la fam\u00edlia (igual que el professorat de secund\u00e0ria) juga un paper fonamental en la transmissi\u00f3 de rols i estereotips de g\u00e8nere entre els joves, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 en la manera de combatre&#8217;ls.<\/p>\n<p>Resulta imprescindible revisar l&#8217;orientaci\u00f3 que reben els joves per part dels seus pares i mares en termes d&#8217;opinions, recomanacions i suggeriments sobre quins itineraris, estudis, cursos, i assignatures s\u00f3n m\u00e9s adequats. Per\u00f2, tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s essencial la promoci\u00f3 d&#8217;activitats extraescolars i d&#8217;oci i temps lliure que no estiguin determinades per biaixos sexistes. \u00c9s aconsellable exposar als joves i infants, des d&#8217;edats primerenques, a jocs i activitats educatives i d&#8217;oci i temps lliure que fomentin el desenvolupament de diferents tipus de rols (no sols els que s&#8217;assignen tradicionalment a un i a un altre sexe). Aix\u00f2 els ajudar\u00e0 a anticipar els nombrosos reptes als quals hauran d&#8217;enfrontar-se en un futur com a persones d&#8217;una societat cada vegada m\u00e9s heterog\u00e8nia.<\/p>\n<p>Per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s important que des de les fam\u00edlies es tingui especial cura als missatges que transmeten als seus fills i filles tant sobre les seves compet\u00e8ncies i el que es considera m\u00e9s adequat per a elles i ells. Aix\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 s&#8217;hauria de fer extensible al tipus d&#8217;activitats extraescolars i de refor\u00e7 a les quals se&#8217;ls anima o desanima a participar des d\u2019edats primerenques. D&#8217;aix\u00f2 dependr\u00e0 que els joves accedeixin a estudis i professions lliures de condicionaments lligats als rols i estereotips de g\u00e8nere.<\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00ed mateix, \u00e9s fonamental que l&#8217;orientaci\u00f3 acad\u00e8mica i professional que es proporciona en els centres de prim\u00e0ria i secund\u00e0ria estigui lliure de biaixos sexistes. Els programes d&#8217;orientaci\u00f3 formals han de buscar solucions a la coexist\u00e8ncia d&#8217;aquesta mena de prejudicis, perqu\u00e8 condicionen les decisions acad\u00e8miques i professionals dels m\u00e9s joves. D&#8217;igual manera, \u00e9s crucial que es produeixi un acompanyament de les fam\u00edlies i dels estudiants a mesura que aquests canvien d&#8217;etapa (de prim\u00e0ria a secund\u00e0ria, de prim\u00e0ria a l&#8217;ESO, de l&#8217;ESO a Batxillerat, etc.) i accedeixen a cursos de major nivell de dificultat i majors mecanismes de comparaci\u00f3 amb el seu grup de refer\u00e8ncia.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h5><strong>Refer\u00e8ncies<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>S\u00e1inz, M.
