Existeix una s\u00e8rie de criteris que optimitzen les interaccions i que les fan m\u00e9s efectives quant a l\u2019aprenentatge. Entrevistem la professora em\u00e8rita de la Universitat de Cambridge Linda Hargreaves a Val\u00e8ncia, aprofitant la seva participaci\u00f3 al Congr\u00e9s Cient\u00edfic Internacional sobre Aprenentatge i Interaccions a l\u2019Aula, organitzat pel CREA de la Universitat de Barcelona i la Generalitat Valenciana.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s l\u2019ensenyament interactiu? Quina difer\u00e8ncia hi ha amb les interaccions normals que s\u2019estableixen en una classe?<\/strong> Interactuar pot significar nom\u00e9s parlar, per\u00f2, per comen\u00e7ar, per ensenyar d\u2019una manera interactiva, els docents han d\u2019estar realment interessats en el que les criatures tenen a dir, i els han de fer preguntes que els obrin les ments, que els donin l\u2019oportunitat d\u2019explicar coses, de pensar per elles mateixes, de prendre les seves pr\u00f2- pies decisions.<\/p>\n<p>Quan he fet recerca, he trobat que, moltes vegades, l\u2019alumnat nom\u00e9s ha de respondre q\u00fcestions com ara:\u00a0\u00abQuina \u00e9s la capital d\u2019Anglaterra?\u00bb, que \u00e9s una pregunta molt curta, simplement un concepte que cal memoritzar. Tenint en compte els nostres estudis de molts anys, hem de dir que el que cal plantejar a l\u2019alumnat \u00e9s, per exemple: \u00abQu\u00e8 en penses, d\u2019aix\u00f2?\u00bb, \u00abPer qu\u00e8 creus que l\u2019autor o el poeta ha triat aquesta paraula o aquest personatge?\u00bb, o tamb\u00e9: \u00abQuines paraules creus que podr\u00edem utilitzar per descriure aquesta m\u00fasica o aquesta pintura?\u00bb. Aquestes preguntes, per\u00f2, s\u00f3n molt poc comunes. Unes altres vegades, els mestres s\u00ed que plantegen una q\u00fcesti\u00f3 que pot comportar un repte, per\u00f2 no donen temps\u00a0a l\u2019alumnat perqu\u00e8 la pugui respondre.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Els diem que triguin no un segon,\u00a0sin\u00f3 dos o tres, i tan sols aquesta petita difer\u00e8ncia de temps representa molt per als nens i nenes, ja que, de sobte, tenen la sensaci\u00f3 que se\u2019ls d\u00f3na una estona per pensar.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>L\u2019ensenyant emet la pregunta, per\u00f2 els infants ja saben que, d\u2019acord amb el funcionament quotidi\u00e0 de l\u2019aula, ning\u00fa no espera que ells la contestin. Potser el docent els demana: \u00abQuin paper fa el personatge en la hist\u00f2ria?\u00bb i, a continuaci\u00f3, contesta ell mateix: \u00abB\u00e9, la ra\u00f3 per la qual t\u00e9 aquest rol \u00e9s perqu\u00e8&#8230;\u00bb. I les criatures simplement pensen: \u00abPer qu\u00e8 haig de respondre?\u00bb. Part de la feina que hem fet \u2013no nom\u00e9s nosaltres, sin\u00f3 tamb\u00e9 altres investigadors\u2013 \u00e9s ensenyar els docents i les docents a esperar una mica m\u00e9s abans de respondre. Els diem que triguin no un segon,\u00a0sin\u00f3 dos o tres, i tan sols aquesta petita difer\u00e8ncia de temps representa molt per als nens i nenes, ja que, de sobte, tenen la sensaci\u00f3 que se\u2019ls d\u00f3na una estona per pensar. Per\u00f2, per fer-ho encara m\u00e9s interactiu, dir\u00edem als infants: \u00abParla amb una companya o amb un company durant un o dos minuts i, llavors, doneu-nos les respostes\u00bb. Aix\u00f2 fa que potser triguin m\u00e9s a contestar, per\u00f2 que els seus arguments siguin millors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quan es treballa en grups, de quina manera es pot aconseguir que els infants interactu\u00efn realment?<\/strong> Per comen\u00e7ar, en els grups interactius, cal canviar la postura de poder que hi ha establert entre la persona adulta i l\u2019infant. A classe, el professorat \u00e9s qui mana, i els\u00a0nenes i nenes saben les regles que hi imperen. Una cosa que hem estat provant de fer amb els docents, particularment el meu company Alexander, \u00e9s que treballin amb un grup molt petit i que intentin reduir la difer\u00e8ncia de poder. Aleshores, el que passa en els grups interactius \u00e9s que els infants no parlen com si s\u2019adrecessin a un \u00abmestre poder\u00f3s\u00bb, sin\u00f3 que s\u2019expressen com si es comuniquessin amb una mare, amb l\u2019assistenta de classe, amb un altre estudiant, etc. En definitiva, amb alg\u00fa que no est\u00e0 en aquesta posici\u00f3 de poder, i crec que aix\u00f2 provoca que se sentin m\u00e9s lliures de comunicar sense ser jutjats.<\/p>\n<p><strong> I creus que el tipus de tasca que es realitzi a l\u2019aula \u00e9s important per millorar la interacci\u00f3 en els grups?\u00a0<\/strong>I tant! El millor que hi ha \u00e9s proposar un tipus d\u2019interrogaci\u00f3 per a la qual no hi hagi nom\u00e9s una resposta correcta. Els dilemes morals, per exemple, funcionen molt b\u00e9 en aquest cas, perqu\u00e8 l\u2019alumnat no necessita consultar cap llibre que li expliqui qu\u00e8 ha de dir. Tots tenim opinions diferents sobre aquestes q\u00fcestions i \u00e9s una manera molt bona de comen\u00e7ar. El m\u00f3n de la ci\u00e8ncia \u00e9s un altre dels \u00e0mbits en qu\u00e8 tamb\u00e9 pot haver-hi molts parers diferents en refer\u00e8ncia a un tema concret, sobretot en la manera com s\u2019aplica a la vida (es pot discutir sobre el dilema entre aven\u00e7 cient\u00edfic i contaminaci\u00f3, per exemple); o el de les matem\u00e0tiques, quan l\u2019alumnat disposa de diverses maneres de resoldre un problema.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Perqu\u00e8 els infants puguin saber realitzar tasques interactives en equip, han d\u2019estar preparats o \u00e9s una cosa que s\u2019apr\u00e8n tot fent-la? Ja n\u2019hi ha prou de repartir-los en grups?<\/strong> Per descomptat, es tracta d\u2019una actitud que ells han de practicar. \u00c9s a dir, alerta, potser ja ho han apr\u00e8s fora de l\u2019aula, mentre juguen en equips i a jocs cooperatius al pati \u2013encara que de vegades hi hagi conflictes\u2013, per\u00f2, a classe, hi ha unes regles psicol\u00f2giques no escrites que diuen que s\u2019hi ha de treballar individualment, per tant, cal aprendre a actuar-hi en grup.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A classe, hi ha unes regles psicol\u00f2giques no escrites que diuen que s\u2019hi ha de treballar individualment, per tant, cal aprendre a actuar-hi en grup<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>En la recerca que he realitzat amb el professor Galton i altres companys, vam planificar un gran projecte, l\u2019aspecte principal del qual era que els infants aprenguessin a treballar col\u00b7lectivament, aix\u00ed que la seva tasca era discutir com ho havien de fer. Evidentment, tots tenien opinions i ells mateixos posaven regles per al seu grup, aix\u00f2 va provocar que tots en tinguessin de diferents. Al final, quan s\u2019ajuntaven a la classe, en feien unes per a tothom. Llavors, el professor les escrivia i potser les penjava a la paret o, de vegades, els infants havien discutit qu\u00e8 era treballar en equip i el mestre en feia un resum i els deixava un paper a la taula que els ajudava a recordar-ho.<\/p>\n<p>Com que els grups ja tenien certes normes, quan el docent deia: \u00abAvui treballem en equips, qu\u00e8 hem de fer?\u00bb, les criatures ja responien: \u00abHem d\u2019escoltar tothom, hem de donar la possibilitat de parlar a tothom, hem de negociar\u00bb. Llavors, el mestre potser preguntava: \u00abQu\u00e8 significa que hem de negociar?\u00bb. I qui ho havia proposat responia: \u00abB\u00e9, hem d\u2019escoltar el que diu aquesta persona i el que diu aquella i, si no estan d\u2019acord, hem de debatre per mirar d\u2019entendre qu\u00e8 diuen totes dues, potser l\u2019una t\u00e9 ra\u00f3, o potser l\u2019altra&#8230;\u00bb. Per\u00f2, \u00e9s clar, necessiten practicar aquestes actituds, cosa que pot durar temps, i crec que aix\u00f2 \u00e9s el que molts mestres i moltes mestres subestimen.
