Inf\u00e0ncia i lectura"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sovint es parla d\u2019un distanciament dels infants i adolescents respecte a la lectura, o m\u00e9s ben dit, d\u2019una lectura pausada, reflexiva i atenta. Si observem com vivim actualment i com es relacionen els joves amb el m\u00f3n, ens adonem que les qualitats necess\u00e0ries per a aquest tipus de lectura estan molt lluny del seu dia a dia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Els nostres infants estan sobreestimulats: generen contingut a partir d\u2019imatges constants, viuen hist\u00f2ries curtes i intenses, i canvien de pantalla cont\u00ednuament. En aquest context, \u00e9s l\u00f2gic que els sigui dif\u00edcil concentrar-se en lectures que requereixen temps, silenci i introspecci\u00f3. A m\u00e9s, <strong>les ganes de llegir haurien de n\u00e9ixer d\u2019ells mateixos, gaireb\u00e9 com un acte voluntari, per\u00f2 d\u2019aix\u00f2 en saben poc, ja que moltes de les activitats escolars es fan sota la motivaci\u00f3 d\u2019una recompensa \u2014una bona nota o un punt positiu\u2014 m\u00e9s que pel plaer intr\u00ednsec de l\u2019aprenentatge.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com podem, doncs, despertar el desig de llegir? Com podem fer que gaudeixin d\u2019hist\u00f2ries que captiven i que els ajudin a viure emocions, a viure-les a trav\u00e9s de les paraules? Si arriben a aquest punt, les sensacions que experimentin seran decisives per convertir-los o no en lectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Crec fermament que tot all\u00f2 que la societat no \u00e9s capa\u00e7 d\u2019oferir \u2014i que \u00e9s essencial per avan\u00e7ar\u2014, l\u2019escola ho ha de compensar i millorar. No llencem la tovallola: tamb\u00e9 podem fer-ho en l\u2019\u00e0mbit de la lectura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si la lectura requereix pausa i concentraci\u00f3, comencem per cuidar les situacions quotidianes que demanen el mateix. Per exemple, si sortim a explorar els f\u00f2ssils de les muntanyes properes o anem al parc a descobrir les ombres de la tardor, fem-ho sense presses. No busquem nom\u00e9s assolir un objectiu concret \u2014recollir, observar o fotografiar\u2014, sin\u00f3 alentir el ritme, aturar-nos en els detalls i formular preguntes pel cam\u00ed. <strong>Aix\u00ed, els infants aprendran que en el proc\u00e9s hi ha una riquesa pr\u00f2pia, i que la ment tamb\u00e9 necessita aprendre a silenciar la immediatesa.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pot semblar paradoxal parlar de lectura sense posar-hi llibres pel mig \u2014llegir sense llegir\u2014, per\u00f2 aprendre t\u00e9 un sentit molt m\u00e9s global del que sovint pensem. Aquesta obsessi\u00f3 per fragmentar-ho tot ens desconnecta de la nostra naturalesa integral: l\u2019aprenentatge \u00e9s un teixit on tot est\u00e0 relacionat.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Els infants no han d\u2019aprendre constantment quan llegeixen; tamb\u00e9 necessiten espais on simplement puguin gaudir, badar i imaginar<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Un altre aspecte fonamental per reconnectar infants i adolescents amb la lectura \u00e9s oferir-los hist\u00f2ries on es puguin recon\u00e8ixer. Cal buscar lectures que els interpel\u00b7lin, que els serveixin de mirall, i crear espais on llegir sigui un plaer i no una obligaci\u00f3. Els infants no han d\u2019aprendre constantment quan llegeixen; tamb\u00e9 necessiten espais on simplement puguin gaudir, badar i imaginar. Sigui com sigui, hem de ser exigents a l\u2019hora de despertar el desig d\u2019aprendre \u2014i la lectura \u00e9s un dels millors camins per fer-ho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tamb\u00e9 cal repensar el paper de l\u2019escola. Actualment, es tendeix a limitar el seu sentit a l\u2019aprenentatge de continguts concrets, per\u00f2 haur\u00edem de comprendre que s\u2019apr\u00e8n en totes les situacions de la vida, i no totes tenen un objectiu immediat. L\u2019escola ha d\u2019oferir la possibilitat de mirar, contemplar, deixar-se endur per les imatges. Potser aquest \u201cbadar\u201d ser\u00e0, en realitat, l\u2019inici del desig de comprendre i descodificar all\u00f2 que les imatges suggereixen. A les aules passen moltes coses abans d\u2019arribar als objectius planificats: processos que, si s\u2019acompanyen b\u00e9, prenen sentit i deixen empremta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Llegir hauria de ser un acte inherent a la professi\u00f3 docent<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u2019altra banda, l\u2019actitud del mestre davant la lectura \u00e9s clau. La manera com ell o ella es relaciona amb els llibres influeix profundament en el grup que acompanya. Llegir hauria de ser un acte inherent a la professi\u00f3 docent. <strong>Llegir perqu\u00e8 llegeixin: aquesta \u00e9s la primera bastida que necessita un infant per iniciar-se en el m\u00f3n lector.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Narrar o llegir b\u00e9 \u00e9s un art. La m\u00e0gia sorgeix quan el mestre sent el que explica i sap transmetre-ho<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Cada mestre hauria de portar dins seu una petita biblioteca d\u2019obres imprescindibles, lectures que l\u2019hagin marcat. Com a mestra d\u2019infantil i prim\u00e0ria, s\u00e9 que quan obres un llibre o expliques un conte, aconsegueixes una atenci\u00f3 dif\u00edcil d\u2019obtenir en altres moments. Narrar o llegir b\u00e9 \u00e9s un art, i no tothom ho fa de la mateixa manera. La m\u00e0gia sorgeix quan el mestre sent el que explica i sap transmetre-ho. Em pregunto quants mestres lectors amb aquesta sensibilitat existeixen. Potser caldria preguntar-ho a les facultats de formaci\u00f3 del professorat i reflexionar-hi seriosament. Llegir no \u00e9s un afegit; \u00e9s una actitud professional que cal cultivar amb consci\u00e8ncia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fem adults lectors, i aconseguirem infants interessats per la lectura<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Els llibres ens aporten beneficis immensos \u2014org\u00e0nics, intel\u00b7lectuals i socials\u2014, per\u00f2, com deia en Gen\u00eds Roca en una xerrada en el marc d\u2019una de les escoles d\u2019estiu de Rosa Sensat, \u201cavui la veritat ja no es troba nom\u00e9s als llibres. Vivim envoltats de veritats diverses i llegir requereix sentit cr\u00edtic\u201d. Llegir no et fa necess\u00e0riament un ciutad\u00e0 millor, per\u00f2 s\u00ed m\u00e9s informat i reflexiu. <strong>Per aix\u00f2, una nova tasca de l\u2019escola hauria de ser ensenyar a discernir quines lectures val la pena llegir, quina c\u00e0rrega ideol\u00f2gica amaguen, quines s\u00f3n recomanables i quines no tant. Per aconseguir-ho, cal formar infants i joves amb una mirada cr\u00edtica s\u00f2lida, on el debat, el contrast i l\u2019an\u00e0lisi de textos ocupin un lloc central a les aules.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Omplim els espais de llibres. Deixem-los al seu abast. Dediquem temps a la lectura lliure. Fem preguntes que convidin a explorar, no a respondre correctament. Connectem el que llegeixen amb les seves vides. Compartim tamb\u00e9 les nostres lectures i fem visible que per a nosaltres els llibres s\u00f3n importants.
